great location but prepare for the stairs
I loved the convenience of being right by the beach, less crowded compared to the main area. The newly renovated room had a amazing view. The helpful porter service. The lush garden view from the hotel was an unexpected delight.
The numerous stairs to the hotel can be quite strenuous, especially in the heat.

fantastic location -best in Positano - friendly family run hotel - on the beach -large bedroom with huge balcony and deck chairs overlooking the sea- the climb up and down the stairs to the hotel from where you leave the car is hectic ,but once you in ,no problem . Great time had and highly recommended
just the stairs getting down into the hotel initially . [this wouldnt apply if you caught the ferry into positano and walked along

The view from our room was magnificent. Their beach side facilities are also great. It was a very relaxing stay. Next time we will go for more than two days. Their restaurant offers delicious dishes and authentic local cuisine.

The location right on the beach was perfect. Our standard double room had a magnificent ocean view from the balcony, and it was newly renovated. The porter service was helpful.
The numerous stairs to reach the hotel can be quite strenuous, especially in the heat.

We truly enjoyed the staff attention to detail and helpfulness. The restaurant on site was fanstastic (try the mozarella and lemon leaf picked from their garden) the hotel was a ten minute walk form the main beach, but the beach in front of the hotel was infinitely better. Absolutely loved it!
The shower was a bit off, no hot water, no shower curtain (so the water was eevrywhere), and made it a bit less enjoyable.

The staff and location was great! Right on Fornillo beach, better than the overly crowded Spaggia Grande. Not to mention the food in the restaurant was very good as well. Very charming and authentic Italian villa experience. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Only complaint, was that there was no iron in the room.

Staying here was a treat! We loved having the private beach just steps away, and the newly renovated family room had a gorgeous sea view that took our breath away. The staff went out of their way to, perfect for our big family vacation.
In my wife's opinion, they could offer more family-friendly dining options.

I got neat room with a balcony. It was in a stunning location close to Fornillo Beach.

The breakfast spread was a tropical feast with fresh fruits, made my taste buds dance! Dining on the patio at sunset was cinematic while savoring the flavorful seafood dishes. Plus, the beach access was a total win for those lazy seaside days.
While the beachfront bliss was undeniable, navigating all those stairs to venture into town reminded me of a mini workout, especially for anyone with knee issues.

Perfect beach access and amazing sea views. Tough stairs to climb after the beach.

Right on the beach, so easy access to relaxation; hotel staff very nice
Breakfast buffet was the worst of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy. It was on the expensive side, and didn't quite seem to merit the high cost we paid, which was at the end of September and not during high season.

The location on the beach was ideal, all other hotels in Positano must walk down many stairs to get to the beach. The hotel had a path with no stairs to get to the city center and Positano was beautiful.
Getting to the hotel was difficult. It is at the base of the mountain right on the beach, but the road does not go down to the hotel. You must walk about a quarter mile, go down 72 steps and use 2 elevators to descend to the hotel level from the road. But once there it was worth it.

Spotless and freshly decorated rooms with a terrace and a small balcony. Very very good breakfast with a good choice of bread, cheese, and meats to satisfy every guest.
Beds were a bit hard.

Great location.
Room decor was very out dated. Bathroom was not very clean (damp patches and mold on walls) Shower head was broken. I was expecting alot more concidering the nightly rate per room.
